This bronze statue of a charioteer was originally part of a group of the charioteer and his horses, dated 470 b.C. This figure
represents the chariot of a King. It is a perfect example of the Greek
Classic Style. The statues of this period are more realistic and lively than the statues of the Archaic period. The eyes are made
of glass with bronze lashes.
